Karina Holosko sculpture

This is my Cobra. I love working with mobile spheres to make my sculptures interactive. I wanted to use the ball and make it move down a maze.

I made this for my father he loved the myths of Cossacks. Can you see his legs kicking up and his strong arms and fist?

This is a funny little guy. Half Squid. Half Eye.

I thought to capture a mermaid emerging from a lake in the midst of the transformation from fish to human.

This is the Indian God Ganesha. Making this was a profound spiritual experience. I did not know I had made the Dirty until I saw the Elephant eye ears and trunk atop a man's body.

Here I experimented with another material.

This soul moves not forward nor back but can play with the spheres that surround his body.

This is a woman who is reinventing herself.

Notice I have added a ball on the tail of the one on bottom.

This sculpture is a girl who sees her abuser but only if she contorts her bottom nature.

Here is the Patriot, a man holding his hands on his chest and protecting the loose ball at his feet... his heart.
